What a great little site this is. Reading through the history of the song The Valley of Knockanure I learnt more than my father probably knew about the events of that the night that Lyons, Walsh and Dalton were murdered. As a boy my father took me to Knockanure to the monument and told me all he could about what had happened to them.Jerry Lyons was my Grandmothers brother. The last time I visited the monument was the day before we laid my father to rest with his family back home near Balinvoher. Thank You for all the information you have provided.

What a great website you have! It was so nice to see the article about my grandfather, Danny Mulvihill on your website. I am the daughter of his son Donald. He is gone 10 years this month and we miss him every day. He was a great friend to many and a very loving grandfather. We have not been back in over 15 years, very busy raising our children Brendan & Eileen. We hope to bring them to Moyvane one day. The videos bring back fond memories of our visits to Moyvane, visiting my aunt Jeannie O'Carroll and having a pint in Enrights Bar!

Hi! I was very interested to read your page on Enright's Bar, and wonder if I am related. I am another Mikey Joe Enright, I'm 53 and live in Swindon, England, although I'm an Irish citizen. My father Patrick Joseph Enright comes from Lisaniskea, and his parents were Jeremiah and Mary (nee Finucane). If anybody in Knockanure or Moyvane knows the Enrights of Lisaniskea (with whom I've lost touch) I'd love to hear from them.

Hey There!!

Brian Keane here, relaxing in SOUTH KOREA!! I got board with Dublin andI have fled to greener pastures. I'm here teaching English for a year, living on an Island off the South Korea. I'm having a great time, but it's great to have the website to keep up with everything. Best of luck in the championship lads, Listowel up next. Bit of a test there.

All the best,

Keano.

P.S. I sitting here in a PC room next to a guy who claims he is from Ballyhahill CO. Limerick!! Small world eh??

Hallo to all who know or knew the Guiney family growing up in the village. We had the Mc Grath Bakery there. We all emigrated to all parts of the globe but have very fond memories of our childhood there. Hallo to Nodie Brosnan and Ger, Bridie Shine and Jack and all our friends, Best of luck, Betty

I am visiting the village from 15th October. I am trying to trace my great grandparents Bridget kennelly born 1863 and Edward Liston born 1855, I would like to know where they are buried and if any records of the local graveyards exsist. I love your webpage and check it all the time. kindest regards
